Position overview:

The Postdoctoral Researcher is a position within the College of Public Health (CPH), HBKU’s newest college. The college aims to educate leaders in academic public health and public health research by creating innovative solutions to public health issues that have global, impact, aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030. This position will focus on epidemiologic research including infectious diseases.

 Qualifications, skills, and experience: Candidates should preferably have a strong background in epidemiology or related field with research experience in infectious diseases. Moreover, experience in systematic review and meta-analysis is highly desirable. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent, have a good publication track record, with at least two first-author publications in a peer-reviewed journal. In addition, the candidate must possess excellent written and oral English communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams.
