Environmental chemicals may impact health, mainly if exposure occurs in early life. researches suggest that most chemicals may interact with the development of endocrine function, immune system, or nervous system , but researches is still limited. At the same time, current health data suggest that some diseases, infertility,  and organ dysfunctions may be due to environmental issues , e.g. modernization pollutants.

The Department of Environmental Medicine at SDU carries out and collaborates on prospective population studies to elucidate the role of environmental chemicals in the etiology of ill health in modern society. Seeking candidates for participation in projects relating to the role of environmental chemicals in the development of immune dysfunction, obesity, and sexual dysfunction.

The funded is from the Danish Council for Strategic Research, the European Commission, and the National Institutes of Health.
The short listed candidate will be requested to send an application to the PhD Secretariat, Faculty of Health Sciences, to be enrolled as a PhD student.

The PhD Program will be carried out in accordance with Faculty regulations and the Danish Ministerial Order on the PhD Program at the Universities.

Ø Detailed CV, including personal contact information
Ø Certified copy of diploma (Master´s degree in medicine or other relevant field
Ø Previous research experience and list of publications, if any.
